Flora completed an MA in Psychology at St. Andrews and an MRes in Developmental Neuroscience at University College London and Yale University. She is currently undertaking a PhD through both Yale University and the University of Zurich, which focuses on characterising the biological underpinnings of altered states of consciousness in order to better understand the neural circuits involved in healthy brain function as well as mental illnesses. She is currently working on a number of projects involving both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of inducing altered states of consciousness including: LSD, Psilocybin, Ketamine, Hypnosis, and Meditation.
